Gecko Privacy Statement
References to Gecko products in this statement include services, website and the portal.
This statement applies to Gecko’s interactions with you and the Gecko services listed below.
Gecko collects data to operate effectively and provide you the best experiences with our services. You provide some of this data directly, such as when you create a Gecko account. We get some of it by recording how you interact with our products by, for example, using technologies like cookies, and receiving error reports or usage data from software running on your device. We also obtain data from third parties.
Gecko uses the data we collect to operate our business and provide you the services we offer, which includes using data to improve our services and personalise your experiences. We also may use the data to communicate with you, for example, informing you about your account, security updates and product information.
However, we do not use what you say in email, chat, video calls or voice mail, or your documents, photos or other personal files to target ads to you.
You can make choices about Gecko's collection and use of your data. How you can access or control your personal data will depend on which services you use.
You can always choose whether you wish to receive promotional emails, SMS messages, telephone calls and postal mail from Gecko.
Many of Gecko's services are intended for use by organisations and are administered to you by your organisation. Your use of Gecko's products may be subject to your organisation's policies, if any. If your organisation is administering your use of the Gecko services, please direct your privacy enquiries to your administrator. Gecko is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of our customers, which may differ from those set forth in this privacy statement.
If you use an email address provided by an organisation you are affiliated with, such as an employer or school, to access Gecko's online services, the owner of the domain (e.g. your employer) associated with your email address may: (i) control and administer your Gecko online services account and (ii) access and process your data, including the contents of your communications and files.
When you sign into your account to access a product, we create a record of that sign in. If you sign into a third-party service with your Gecko account, you will be asked to consent to share the account data required by that service.
